Bed is uncomfortable. Shower gets the entire bat in room wet and it's hard to dry. Slippery floors. Nice value for the money. I wouldn't recommend for older people its board line dangerous how slippery the stairs and floor are. | 4 |

Because we stayed only 3 nights, he advised us about ways to use our time and see as much of Santorini as possible. And while the sunset at Oia is worth a look (if you get there around enough and stay till after the flood of tourists return home), he was correct that there are other beautiful places to see it from. He gave us tips on car rentals and arranged it. Breakfast was incredible !! So much delicious food even on the day we left which was quite early. Our daughter will bring her boyfriend back for a romantic week next year and she will talk directly with Kostas to organize their time. | 5 |

We regret 2 or 3 things : the view from the room 3 is not complete on the sunset, you have to be at the top right of the balcony. It had great views of the caldera and had sunset views that were just as amazing as Oia without all of the crowds. The apartments are so cute. The staff went out of their way to make us feel like we were at home, booking rental cars and transportation for us. The manager, Kostas, was always willing to help. The breakfasts were excellent. | judeaSat 18 Mar, 2017 | We loved our stay at MerivigliossoGreat communication with Damigou prior to our stay and arranging shuttle pick up with Kostas. We stayed at Merivigliosso March 11-15 (we booked a basic studio apartment and got a discount as it was low season. To our surprise, we were upgraded to luxury apartment with jacuzzi and a welcome bottle of wine) Everything about this hotel was amazing from the breakfast service that was included, the cleaning (she organized all our stuff, replaced w/ clean towels, topped up the shampoo and shower gel... the place was spotless!) The hotel was situated in Imerovigli which is an easy 25-30 minute downhill walk into Fira (far away from the noise but accessible enough to eat and check out stuff) Also, there was bus service (every one hour during low season and more frequent during high season). You have the caldera view from your balcony and just walking outside you are right on the caldera. Priceless. Hike/walk to Oia (2.5 hrs) you wont regret, also March is perfect, not too hot and cool enough to walk and enjoy the breathtaking views. We highly recommend Merovigliosso to anyone interested and to all our friends. We had an incredible time. Kostas and his wife were amazing hosts. Kostas even picked us up from the airport after midnight upon our arrival and drove us back for our departure. We had a gorgeous view of the caldera, and the hotel is located in an area that is upscale and away from the party crowd, or so it seemed, which suited us well. The apartment was very clean. The only issue my sister had (I did not as I am only 5'2") is that she hit her head a few times on the curved doorways/ceiling in the bedroom where she stayed. If you are taller, watch your head a bit. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Santorini.
